Alan Li Appointed Head of Business Development for MIPS China to Drive Physical AI Growth

MIPS, a GlobalFoundries company, announced that Alan Li has joined as Head of Business Development for China. In this role, Alan will lead expansion across the region, leveraging his extensive experience in the automotive, industrial, and communications infrastructure sectors to support MIPS’ mission to advance the next wave of physical AI.

Alan Li joins MIPS from TI, where he held roles including Area Director of North & West China, Sales Manager of Automotive, and Regional Sales Manager of Beijing. He brings deep expertise across automotive, industrial, personal electronics, communications, and enterprise markets. Alan holds a Master’s degree from Xidian University.

Scaling Physical AI in edge platforms will be powered by the MIPS Atlas portfolio of processor IP, software, and tools. This includes MIPS Atlas Explorer, which allows customers to evaluate processor IP and begin software/hardware co-design ahead of silicon production, accelerating deeply embedded workloads.
