Evoke Security Raises $4M Pre-Seed Round to Secure the Agentic Workforce
Estimated Read Time: 5 minutes
Cybersecurity startup Evoke Security has raised $4 million in a pre-seed funding round aimed at helping enterprises secure rapidly expanding AI-driven workforces. The investment was led by Crosspoint Capital Partners with participation from Red Cell Partners.
The funding comes as organizations increasingly deploy autonomous AI agents across business operations, granting them access to sensitive enterprise systems, customer data, and production environments.
Securing the Rise of the Agentic Workforce
AI agents are becoming deeply embedded within enterprise workflows, performing tasks ranging from data analysis to software automation. However, traditional cybersecurity tools were not designed to monitor or govern autonomous systems operating at machine speed.
Evoke Security aims to address this emerging risk by providing visibility and control over AI agents operating across corporate environments, enabling organizations to safely adopt agent-based automation.
Platform Designed for AI Agent Governance
The company’s platform focuses on three core security capabilities tailored specifically for agentic environments:
- Automatic discovery and governance of AI agents and connected tools
- AI security posture management and threat modeling
- Real-time detection, prevention, and response to risky agent behavior
These capabilities allow security teams to identify over-permissioned agents, detect malicious activity, and prevent data exfiltration before incidents occur. Enterprises can deploy the platform quickly without disrupting employee workflows.
Addressing a New Enterprise Attack Surface
Industry experts note that AI agents introduce an entirely new cybersecurity challenge. A single compromised agent may interact with dozens of enterprise systems, creating potential pathways for attackers that existing monitoring tools cannot easily detect.
Evoke Security’s founders emphasize that enterprises are effectively doubling their workforce with non-human digital agents, making governance and monitoring essential components of modern security architecture.
Accelerating Growth Through Strategic Programs
Following the funding round, Evoke Security has also joined major industry initiatives including the CrowdStrike, AWS, and NVIDIA Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator as well as the NVIDIA Inception Program. These partnerships are expected to support product development and enterprise adoption efforts.
Looking Ahead
As enterprises continue integrating autonomous AI systems into daily operations, securing the agentic workforce is emerging as one of cybersecurity’s fastest-growing priorities. Evoke Security’s latest funding positions the company to expand its platform and help organizations adopt AI innovation without compromising security.
