The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference took place during the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing under the theme Synergizing Cutting-Edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces.
More than 400 participants attended the event, including ambassadors, industry experts, corporate leaders, and finance professionals. Through keynote speeches, project promotions, and cooperation agreements, the conference highlighted Hubei’s leadership in humanoid robotics and its drive for global collaboration across the robotics value chain.
Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), praised Hubei’s strategic location, robust innovation environment, and openness to international cooperation. He emphasized the province’s advancements in smart manufacturing, core robotics components, application scenarios, and ecosystem building.
“At this year’s CISCE, Hubei launched a humanoid robotics exhibition zone featuring 22 enterprises and over 80 exhibits—including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots—demonstrating the region’s comprehensive robotics ecosystem,” Yu stated.
He also reaffirmed CCPIT’s commitment to expanding its international service network to support Hubei in developing its humanoid robotics sector into a global benchmark.
Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, called humanoid robotics a key driver of technological innovation and industrial upgrading. Highlighting Hubei’s policy advantages and its base of 325 Fortune Global 500 companies, he outlined a roadmap for progress over the next one, three, and five years.
Zhao Xingwei, legal representative of JCBot and professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), shared how the company, with academic backing, has industrialized its robotic technologies across over 10 sectors including manufacturing, tourism, emergency response, and logistics. He pledged to continue enhancing R&D to unlock more high-value applications.
During a product demonstration, Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager at Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd., unveiled a new humanoid robot. Currently deployed in scenarios such as exhibition guidance, retail, reception, and stage performance, the robot will soon expand into government services, industrial automation, elderly care, and other domains.
Strategic collaboration took center stage as the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance signed agreements with the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. The partnerships will focus on joint R&D, market development, and talent exchange, aiming to accelerate the industry’s growth through resource sharing and strategic alignment.
