Keepit, a global leader in cloud backup and recovery solutions for SaaS data, has announced the appointment of Thierry Bedos as Vice President South EMEA. In this strategic role, Bedos will lead growth initiatives across France, Italy, and the Iberian region, enhancing Keepit’s market presence among Small and Medium-sized Businesses (up to 1,000 employees), commercial organizations (1,000–5,000 employees), and large enterprises (over 5,000 employees). He will report directly to Søren Lindkvist, Senior Vice President for EMEA.

Before joining Keepit, Bedos served as Vice President South EMEA at Proofpoint, where he was instrumental in structuring and scaling regional sales operations. He also held senior roles at Forcepoint, where he progressed from Vice President South EMEA to Senior Vice President EMEA. At both companies, Bedos successfully led multicultural teams and forged robust strategic partnerships in competitive markets.
Over his distinguished career, Thierry Bedos has gained deep expertise in SaaS, cybersecurity, Big Data, and artificial intelligence. He has held senior leadership roles at McAfee, SAS Institute, and Oracle, and developed an extensive understanding of the Southern European distribution landscape, including value-added resellers (VARs) and integrators.
Bedos is a graduate of INSA Lyon with an engineering degree (class of 1984) and also holds a DESS in Business Management from IAE Lyon (1992).
