Plural, the next-generation Kubernetes management platform, has raised $6 million in seed funding, led by Primary Venture Partners, with participation from Capital One Ventures and notable New York-based firms including Company Ventures.

This investment brings Plural’s total funding to $12 million, including a pre-seed round. The funds will support Plural’s mission to simplify Kubernetes operations as enterprises face increasing complexity, especially with the rise of AI-driven workloads.

“The widespread adoption of Kubernetes has transformed how enterprises deploy and scale containerized applications,” said Sean Leach, Partner at Capital One Ventures. “This presents new operational challenges. Plural is focused on automation, security, and enterprise-grade controls.”

With over 60% of enterprises now managing 10 or more Kubernetes clusters, environments are becoming more complex as teams scale across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. Additionally, the surge in AI and machine learning workloads is increasing demands on Kubernetes infrastructure, requiring smarter and more scalable management solutions.

Plural’s AI-powered Kubernetes management platform (KMP) automates cluster management through a unified control plane. The platform enables enterprises to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maintain security and compliance across complex Kubernetes environments with self-service workflows.

“Enterprises are facing a perfect storm of Kubernetes complexity and AI workload growth,” said Sam Weaver, CEO of Plural. “This funding validates our vision for simplifying Kubernetes management at scale. We’re seeing strong momentum, particularly in financial services, where balancing innovation with security and compliance is critical. Plural allows organizations to focus on innovation without being overwhelmed by infrastructure management.”

The investment will be used to expand Plural’s engineering team, accelerate product development, and strengthen go-to-market operations to meet increasing customer demand.

“Kubernetes is now the backbone of modern enterprise infrastructure, but managing it remains a significant challenge,” said Brian Schechter, Partner at Primary Venture Partners. “As businesses scale clusters, integrate AI/ML workloads, and expand multi-cloud strategies, the operational burden increases exponentially. Plural is uniquely positioned to address these challenges with cost-effective, developer-friendly solutions.”
