Project Evident has introduced its new Equitable AI Adoption Framework, designed to help organizations integrate artificial intelligence responsibly while driving stronger and more equitable outcomes. Developed in collaboration with 34 nonprofit practitioners, district leaders, and subject matter experts, the framework offers actionable guidance across the entire AI adoption lifecycle—from preparing organizational data to deploying technology and evaluating results. It helps organizations address common questions such as where to begin with AI, how to ensure responsible usage, and how to align AI initiatives with program goals and evidence-based practices.
The goal is to help practitioners adopt AI tools in ways that support their missions while safeguarding against risks such as bias, misuse, and lack of transparency.
