Indian fintech company Pine Labs has launched a unified payments platform for merchants in Singapore, bringing payment acceptance, acquiring, instalment payments and customer engagement into a single technology layer. The move marks the start of Pine Labs' payment acceptance operations in Singapore and forms part of its broader international expansion strategy.
The platform allows merchants to accept cards and alternative payment methods through one integrated system. Pine Labs supports major networks and payment platforms including American Express, Mastercard, Visa, GrabPay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay. It also enables instalment payment plans at checkout through its network of banking and brand partners.
Another key part of the offering is Fave, Pine Labs' consumer payments and engagement platform. Through rewards, cashback and merchant-funded offers, Fave is designed to help businesses attract customers, encourage repeat purchases and strengthen loyalty.
For merchants, the unified model could reduce the complexity of managing multiple payment and commerce providers. Pine Labs says bringing payments, acquiring, financing and engagement together can also help merchants improve checkout conversions and support higher-value purchases through instalment options.
Pine Labs already serves Singapore brands including Courts, iStudio, CapitaLand and FairPrice. The company operates across more than 20 markets and says Singapore is part of a wider international growth strategy. Its Singapore expansion follows its recent entry into the Philippines through a partnership with GCash.
The Singapore launch also fits into Pine Labs' broader Commerce OS strategy, which aims to connect merchants, financial institutions, enterprises and consumers through payments, credit, issuing and other fintech capabilities across multiple global markets.
